Yes, but they are subject to strict regulations. High-capacity lithium batteries (above 100Wh) are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods and must comply with IATA DGR and ICAO instructions. They can generally only be carried on dedicated cargo planes (not passenger flights) and must pass UN 38.3 testing. Additionally, they must be shipped at a State of Charge (SoC) not exceeding 30% of their rated capacity.
